²He ·built [founded] it on the waters
and ·set [established] it on the rivers [Gen. 1:9–10; Is. 45:18].

³Who may go up on the mountain of the Lord [^CZion, the location of the Temple]?
    Who may stand in his holy ·Temple [^Lplace]?
⁴Only those with clean hands and pure hearts [^Cinnocent in actions and thoughts],
    who have not ·worshiped idols [^Llifted their souls to false things],
    who have not made promises ·in the name of a false god [or deceitfully].
